ZyXEL ZyAIR G-4100 v2 is an all-in-one hotspot gateway that provides secure Internet access for patrons. It provides authentication and accounting functions for both wireless and wired clients, supporting up to 100 concurrent users. The ZyXEL ZyAIR G-4100 v2 works with the SP-200E statement printer. With a click of a button on the SP-200E, it automatically generates and prints out username, password, and pre-configured duration for internet access. All required hotspot service functions are built into the ZyXEL ZyAIR G-4100 v2.

The ZyXEL ZyAIR G-4100 v2 has an embedded and very easy to configure authentication server which makes it a true self-contained hotspot-in-a-box solution. On the other hand, the ZyXEL ZyAIR G-4100 v2 also supports an external RADIUS server for large scale hotspot service deployments such as store-chains or airport terminals, providing roaming capability from one location to another through centralized authentication and accouting.

To provide the best hotspot user experience, the ZyXEL ZyAIR G-4100 v2 features rich networking functions, including IP PnP function, DHCP server, NAT, MAC address filtering and IP address filtering. The IP PnP technology enables the end user to experience true plug-and-play with absolutely no configuration needed. User no longer needs to change the IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, web proxy and even SMTP server. VLAN security for wired and wireless clients, NAT, layer 2 isolation, and MAC and IP address filtering technology work behind the scenes to ensure each user's privacy is protected.

The ZyXEL ZyAIR G-4100 v2 can be configured with customized login page, redirect users to advertisement URL link, or provide limited internet access to specified home page. Additionally, it ptovides powerful management functions, including SSL login page, secure remote function, and LAN and WLAN device management. For easy deployment, the ZyXEL ZyAIR G-4100 v2 supports Power-over-Ethernet; the statement printer, SP-200E supports Power-over-Ethernet as well.
