Shipping Policy
Billing Information Verification Prior to Shipping
To reduce the possibility of fraud to a minimum and keep prices low, Nowthor Corporation subjects all orders to an extensive and detailed billing information verification. It is thus possible for your order to be delayed if the billing information submitted is not consistent. In addition, we retain the right to cancel any order submitted that is deemed suspicious or for any other reason.
Regular Order Processing
Your order is usually processed the same business day and shipping will occur the next business morning if all items exist in stock. In any case, your credit card won't be charged until your order is ready to ship. In some cases, your orders may not be fulfilled right way, due to stock depletion. If this happens, we will contact you to determine how you would like us to proceed.
Special Case When Shipping To Canada
Unlike orders shipping to US addresses, orders shipping to Canada may only depart from our main location in Northern Virginia. While stock may be available in other warehouses, Nowthor Corporation may not be able to fulfill your order right away. If this happens, you will be contacted by email with an estimate of the time it will take to fulfill your order.
Special Order Processing
Orders whose items are marked Special Order are processed differently from regular orders. Special Order items aren't kept in stock and require us to special order the item from one of our distributors. These orders may also take much longer to be delivered, sometimes up to 30 days. In this case, your credit card will be charged immediately, prior to ordering from the distributor. These orders cannot be canceled and cannot be returned except in cases of defect or malfunction.
Shipping Origin
Nowthor Corporation ships the vast majority of orders from our own fulfillment center in Northern Virginia. In a few cases, however, orders may ship from the fulfillment centers of our distributors or manufacturers. Please, note that we do not offer customer pick-ups.
Shipping Destination
At this time, Nowthor Corporation is only able to ship to the Continental US, Alaska, Hawaii and Canada. With the exception of Canada, we don't accept orders from international destinations. Orders submitted from outside the United States but with a US shipping address receive special scrutiny and may be refused. Orders shipping to freight forwarders, including those operating private mailboxes are considered high risk and may be refused.
Shipping Methods
Nowthor Corporation offers four distinct shipping methods with different guaranteed delivery times. Note that these guarantees are offered by the carriers and are not absolute. For destinations considered remote by the carriers or for any other reasons, it may take longer to deliver your order. Nowthor Corporation cannot be held responsible or liable in case the carrier takes longer than the delivery times stated below.
Please, note that we instruct the carrier to collect signatures on all packages upon delivery. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Usually, your order will ship via FedEx or UPS. However, Nowthor Corporation may use at its discretion any other carrier to deliver your order.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs for your order will be calculated in real-time after you checkout. You may cancel the ordering process at any time until after submitting the order.
For orders shipping to Canada, the aforementioned shipping costs do not include any applicable duties, taxes and brokerage fees. The customer is responsible and liable for paying these costs to the broker prior to order delivery. |
